In the different cosmetics regulations worldwide a cosmetic safety assessment for human health is completed for cosmetic products. The documents need for Product Information File

  • The cosmetic product safety assessment report
  • A description of the method of manufacturing and a statement on compliance with good manufacturing practice (GMP). GMP is covered in Article 8 of the Regulation
  • GMP Declaration or Certificate
  • Artwork/Image of the product package/product
  • Where justified by the nature or the effect of the cosmetic product, proof of the effect claimed for the cosmetic product
  • Cosmetic Stability, Microbial, Physical-Chemical, Challenge and Dermatological Tests
  • Data on any animal testing performed by the manufacturer, his agents or suppliers, relating to the development or safety assessment of the cosmetic product or its ingredients, including any animal testing performed to meet the legislative or regulatory requirements of countries outside the EU

  10. Information on the cosmetic product
